Mr. Shoenfelt hails from an artisic family. His father shares Mr. Shoenfelt's love of art and pottery. Mr. Shoenfelt is an avid art collector and painter. He began to paint while he was in college and continues today to relax. He vists North Caroline in the summer in order to make pottery with his father. Mr. Shoenfelt has hosted art exhibts at his law office in order to showcase the art works of several local artists.

Mr. Shoenfelt leases an art studio to local artist Saliha Staib. The art studio is located in the building behind the law firm.
